FOUNDER AND BROKER LICENSED IN OREGON
(508) 340-1456

I became a real estate agent nearly 10 years ago after working in the service industry for more than 20 years. While I’m not technically a therapist, the time I’ve spent bartending has magnified my listening skills and shown me I’m a natural problem-solver. I’m quick on my feet, and I can see all sides and act fairly in negotiations. I know how to gather the information needed to untangle challenges and find solutions. I listen and then I fight tooth and nail to get the desired outcome for my clients.

In a competitive market like Portland, finding the right home and getting an offer accepted requires creativity, ingenuity, and originality. That’s where I come in.

Owning a home is a labor of love. When touring homes with clients, I’m looking at every detail from the perspective of what might arise during a home inspection. I educate my clients about potential issues as well as future upkeep so they can make informed decisions. I work with a team of trusted lenders, inspectors, and contractors to make sure every client’s experience is as smooth as possible.

It's important to have an agent who understands what it takes to get the job done. I answer my phone when it rings. I’m loyal and never stop advocating for my friends and clients. To keep everything on track for a happy ending, I provide calm and open communication for everyone involved. For me, handing a client new keys is only the beginning of our relationship. That’s the day I become a forever resource for them, their family, and their friends for all things house related.

I grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts, where my father taught me that owning your home meant always having a roof over your head and something to leave your kids. I got my start as a homeowner and a landlady when he left me his building. I grew up watching my single mom fix everything around the house, which taught me early on that if something needs to get done I can figure out how to do it. This knowledge has been fundamental for every home I’ve remodeled and for every client who’s trying to envision future possibilities for the homes we tour.

I found my people when I moved to Portland in 2001 and fell in love with the queer punk community here. Less than a decade later, I bought my first house with my best friend. Watching friends pay more in rent than I was paying for my mortgage inspired me to use my skills to help my community become homeowners and invest in their own futures.

When I’m not showing houses, I’m thrifting all over the NW, hanging at the river with my wife and kids, working on house projects, or at a dive bar with friends.

“Reg and Teri have been both awesome REALTORS® and housing market sages during our property search here in Portland.

They are efficient, punctual, detail-oriented, and knowledgable, all while maintaining laidback and humorous exchanges during electronic, voice, and in-person communications. We stumbled on them by chance during a Zillow request. When Reg toured us virtually through the first house, we knew that she was the REALTOR® for us. Both Reg and Teri were available day and night for questions, offers, disclosures, and general moral support. They worked with us remotely, visiting houses virtually with us during the COVID era, as well as physically here in Portland, and they always offered their honest opinions regarding the homes and often knew our needs better than we did. Reg was never looking for an immediate sale; when we came across a property that was not perfect, she would say, “This isn’t the house for you. Let’s keep looking.” When we did find that perfect property, Teri navigated us through making our offer in a multiple-offer situation. In the Portland housing market, we learned quickly that offering over asking is the norm, and Teri made comps and ensured that we did not pay too much for the property while making our offer appealing to the seller (we were directed to write a letter to the seller with an introduction about our family, which made the transaction so much more transparent and personal). Both Teri and Reg set us up with contractors, arborists, and plumbing recommendations (all necessary for an old Portland house) once our offer was accepted, and through Jen Bell, Senior Mortgage Broker at Advantage Mortgage, escrow lasted 18 days, and we closed early on our forever home, delighting both buyer and seller. The service writes itself. Thanks, Reg, Teri, and Jen for an amazing transaction!”
